Lol, I disagree, there is still a reason to use Windows XP. It’s definitely less intensive then Windows 7 on even moderately older computers- And not everyone can upgrade their computer as much as they’d like. But with a lower end OS it can still be useful for videos, gaming, multitasking, etc. ^_^

are dvd optical drives dead? NOPE. How would windows pc users restore their system images ( THIS INCLUDES prebuilt and custom builders ftr) or reinstall the operating system if they wanted a fresh start or if solving the problem resorted to that last resort? How would people backup their dvd movie collection to prolong the life of those movies they bought? and until ALL windows compatible hardcore gaming game creators stop putting their games on dvd discs..how would people install ALL games?
note that DOES NOT include morons who have been brainwashed into believing that just because they hold a body temp somewhere in the late 90′s that they are OWED a perfect experience for something that someone else did the hard work on creating. ( linux based o.s.’s for example). If you pay 50 bucks monthly for internet and because of your isp’s problems ( not yours nor your hardware etc) you’re only getting 25 bucks worth of service. YOU HAVE A LEGIT COMPLAINT & thus have the right to complain

not to even mention TONS more in variety and quantity of extensions versus safari’s extension list…ie’s plugin list unfortunately is lame and just not even worth looking at compared to chrome.
For windows based computer=chrome for the OVERALL every category of browser judging-win
For apple-of course safari will run better than chrome from my experience ..SO FAR..things may change. who knows.
btw and ftr..I thumbs up’d the vid pirillo. although these are loooong..I LOVE these videos also. You cover a good bit of a broad range of seemingly intelligent questions from the world. Not to disagree with you about the browser recommendation. However, from my experiences I cannot recommend safari on a windows computer versus chrome or even ie9 let alone ie 10. Safari is made to run on apple o.s.’s and runs great in that world. All good. Safari runs good on win 7, but chrome 13 better.
and EVEN SOME of those 700 buck range or cheaper and MOST of all 400 buck desktop prebuilt pc’s DO NOT HAVE A DEDICATED video card=CRAP performance on most even SEMI demanding games let alone decent 720p video editing. Have you ever tried to play starcraft II WOL on ONBOARD graphics with 2.6ghz dual core cpu 4 gig ddr2 800mhz ram machine even on a 15″ 1024×768 display? You’ll get AT BEST 22 fps and that’s on missions that hardly EVER have more than 40 men on screen. what about Outbreak?LOL
“nowadays it’s just as affordable to buy a prebuilt pc than to custom build” ah..DEPENDS. What if the person wants to make a good or great video editing pc or gaming pc. OVER 85% OF THE TIME prebuilt desktops in the $700 or less range WILL NOT have a psu who’s 12v rail amps nor wattage will cover the top 33% tier of video cards ( which are the only ones you’ll want to have) without problems. Chrome used to be sluggish? are you high? Chrome-dev is so ridiculously fast on my linux box its insane, its by far the fastest application to load on my machine and its *still* faster than firefox 9.0. (yes, firefox trunk is sitting on 9.0)

Wait, why does obtaining ice obsolete water flow systems? I thought ice just made those systems a bit more efficient.
@chaosvortex89 There have been rumors that mobs will be more persistent and spawn less, which would make mob traps fairly useless, especially if there was a cap to how many mobs could spawn in a chunk in a certain time.

I’m not sure what he meant when he said he was afraid that Notch was going to wipe out mob traps in 1.8. Any ideas?
There has to be a balance in mods so that the games overall challenge isn’t diminished i.e. Too Many Items which is mainly for hardcore builders but also destroys everything minecraft is based upon. like a balloon mod is cool in practicality but, like you said, takes mine carts almost completely out or the picture. i love this mod and its practicality and uses but it shouldn’t do all the work for you. i thank Battosay for teaching me in his videos and FlowerChild for creating this!!!
